Plans and Limits

Every tenant is on a plan that determines how many users, records, and clients you can have, how long your data is retained, and which features are available. New tenants start on the Free plan automatically.

What happens when you reach a limit

If you reach your plan's record, client, or user limit, you won't be able to create any more until you remove existing items or upgrade your plan. A banner in the app will let you know when you're approaching a limit.

What happens when your data retention period passes

Once a record passes your plan's data retention period, it becomes locked. You can still see that the record exists, and you can delete it, but you can no longer view or edit its details. Upgrading your plan immediately unlocks any records that are now within the new retention period.

Upgrading or downgrading

You can view and change your plan from Settings > License Details. Downgrading takes effect immediately — anything no longer included in your new plan (for example, branding on certificates, or an integration that needs API access) is switched off straight away rather than continuing until you next log in.

note

If you already have more users, records, or clients than your new plan allows, downgrading won't remove them — but you won't be able to add any more until you're back within the new plan's limits.
